MacのARM移行は結構ワクワクするんだけど結構疑問。
かなりの間.net開発ばっかりやってたから感覚が分かんないけど、普通はコンパイルするだけで別CPUでも動きます、だと思うんだが違うのかな?

Geekbenchは信用できないっていう批判がありますね

GeekBenchについて、コンパイラの影響が大きいよという話に対して、コンパイラの影響がどれくらいかわからないが、
通常と違ってライブラリが単純化されてスタティックリンクされていたり、iOSだとページサイズが違っているなど
通常のデスクトップと異なる設定があったり、サーマルリミットの影響だったり、ベンチマークモードのような
チートの可能性があるなど実行環境のシステムの影響をかなり強く受けているという点をLinusは批判しているのです。
だから純粋なCPUのベンチマークとはいいがたいが、様々な分野の処理内容を計測しているからアプリケーションの
動作速度を測定する実行環境のベンチマークとしてならよくできていると言ったのです。

自分でCPUバウンドな処理書く人でもない限り、
一般人はCPUを使うわけではなくアプリを使うわけですからね。

ベンチモードで不正してるのは中華やサムスンではなんどもあるけど
発熱無視すれば性能上がるのが当たり前だから禁じ手になってたということ
Macに採用するということは、発熱に大きな余裕があるので、当然その分性能上がっても当然の話だね
もちろん低消費電力向けに設計してるから限界があるけど
それも設計から変更することが可能になるわけだからさらに期待できると
まぁその批判が的外れになって、その理論からさらに期待できるってことだねw
